BACKPACKING THE CARNEDDAU (RANGE) IN SNOWDONIA NATIONAL PARK
Through gale-force winds, snow, hail, rain and sunshine from Bethesda (near Bangor) to Carnedd Dafydd, Carnedd Llywelyn, Foel Grach, Carnedd Uchaf, Foel Fras,  Drum, Tal y Fan, Conwy and Llandudno Junction (one night on Carnedd Llywelyn, one on Tal y Fan)
November 2001.

Looking toward Carnedd Llywelyn

The only smooth, soft place on the mountain for a "bed"
(Just below the summit of Carnedd Llywelyn--could see the lights of Ireland from this spot)

The rainy, foggy summit of Foel Fras

Llandudno Peninsula (through the usual haze)
